Lisa’s insights were realistic and I am excited to put more effort into networking, i.e. seeking out conversations with people to learn more about their company and their professional background.
I appreciate these informative micro sessions especially Lisa’s as she sets up a doable call to action so that I now have a direction to march toward looking for news stories and/or job boards with potential employers to kickstart a conversation and a job opportunity!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Real eye opening and actionable tips of how to create opportunities to “sell” yourself to hopefully open minded employers without being drowned in a sea of CVs gathering dust in a job board database (if that vacancy existed and were advertised in the first place). I particularly made a note that the response rate can be very low and that this is normal: all you need is one connection and you could be off to your new amazing role!
Clear message from Lisa, if you are looking for career change “work on the necessities you could see in the companies or industry you like to be part of” #CMK2021
I would like to thank Lisa and her son for her presentation. Her mentoring has been always insightful and rewarding for job seekers.
I planned a trip during this week but I decided to postpone and attend this opportunity to learn from experts, as you know the time with the virus is getting more worse and only heroes like you continue to make impacts on people like me. Thank you all for your great work. I immediately sent an email to my connection to ask for an exploratory meeting and I am certain that I will hear back shortly.
